Dormitory

NTUST is currently reconstructing Dormitory One. Therefore, the rules of filling vacancies for overseas degree program students are given as follows:

  1. Overseas new students who enroll in the first year of their four-year or two year undergraduate degree programs, Master’s degree programs, or dual-degree programs, as well as the PhD students enrolled to lower than or equal to the fifth year of study, have the top priorities for being assigned to bed spaces in the dormitories.
  2. Male: Other than the students who are eligible for top priorities in (1), the rest of the overseas students and the local Taiwanese students can only get bed spaces via the dormitory lottery. The fifth-year or higher undergraduate students, the third-year or higher Master’s students and the sixth-year or higher Ph.D. students are not eligible to participate in the dormitory lottery and will NOT be assigned to any bed spaces.
  3. Female: Other than the students who are eligible for top priorities in (1), the second-year Master’s students have the next priorities of being assigned to bed spaces in the dormitories. Afterward, the second-year undergraduate students have the next priorities. Finally, the rest of the overseas students and the local Taiwanese students can only get bed spaces via the dormitory lottery. The third-year or higher undergraduate students, the third-year or higher Master’s students and the sixth-year or higher Ph.D. students are not eligible to participate in the dormitory lottery and will NOT be assigned to any bed spaces.
